Throughout the project, we will be holding virtual and in-person (when safe/possible) community conversations, meetings, and other events to share information and hear from community members.

This spring, we are working to identify goals, priorities, and needs.

Project Overview Webinar

We kicked off the community engagement process with a series of webinars (online presentations). During these events, we provided information about the Cville Plans Together process. (The same materials were presented at each meeting.) A recording of the events can be found below, including the Q&A portion of the meeting. You can download the webinar presentation document here.

Community Survey

The online survey presented an opportunity to share input about a variety of topics relevant to the Comprehensive Plan, including the Affordable Housing Strategy. The survey was posted May 20, 2020, and responses were accepted through June 27, 2020. To see which questions were asked, you can download paper copies of the survey, below. We look forward to sharing a summary of results later this summer.

Small Group Discussions

In May and June 2020 there was a series of small-group interactive discussions about community goals and priorities, focused on equity and affordability. It was possible to join these discussions by calling in, or by using the Zoom webinar platform on a phone, computer, tablet, or other device. A summary of these discussions will be compiled and shared in summer 2020.
